Aggro, hot, intense, puking, rawking, flailing, Dipper is fronted by certified crazyman Joachim Leksell, backed by lean guitarist Magnus Karlsson, Stranglers-/Rev. Horton Heat afiçionado Hari Kolari and former garage wrecki ng drummer Patrick Malmros, a steaming mass of fun in an armored car. Listen: you'll hear tunes as good as Pixies, as punkin' as DK. Ya, nuff ravin'.
Another local fave band is honest-to-god skanksters Liberator, party on a hammond B-3, to that hep-hep-hep sound.
One of the weirdest local bands is Circus Flabbergast, inspired as they are by Mingus, Zappa, Mr. Bungle, Steely Dan, hardcore porn, hardcore horror, deep sea fish, disgusting life f orms. Led by the ignominous Mongolord Sumpomonko and featuring bass mayhemist The Ravaging Raspberry, they are no trollops at all. They are hard men. Amen.
C-Men, them sperminators of Rawk, features buddies Buck, Honk and Deadbeat, as well as other assorted scum. C-Men are rockers. C-Men are wild and crazy guys. Go see them. Watch your behind, though...;)
My surf geetar buddies in Langhorns packs one helluva twangy punch. They will release a CD platter later this year. On Bad Taste records, even. It'll probably sound and look really goo d. But fuck, Michael, man, do something about the dee-zgusting colours on the page. I mean, jeepers creepers!

In no particular order, yo, I give you some other bands that I like. Let's kickstart with The official Foetus homepage, which is totally OK. Be sure to check him out if he's playing in yer vicinity. Even tho' I thought Foetus was pretty lame live in 1996. I just long for the good old days when he played with Kyzys and Westberg...
The RESIDENTS homepage is another great place to spend time. Did you see their Freakshow CD-ROM? No? Yes? You should check it out by any means necessary. Fuck, steal it for all I care... Butthole Surfers! Butthole Surfers! Gibby Haynes has the world's greatest collexion of pathology regalia. Best song? BEST SONG? I'll give ya for 'best song'!
While yer at it, go check out theReverend Horton Heat page! The Rev rocks mightily on all of his albums. He's the baddest of the bad, of course. Pity he ain't on Crypt, Baby! He done shit with the Supersuckers. He done shit with Gibby. He done shit with Unca Al. I saw him live in '98, and my golly! That was one of the most entertaining concerts I've ever visited.
New Bomb Turks' is also great, both on record and live. Their concert was also one of the best I attended in 1998.
Gas Huffer. Many a boozy night have I been spent in their musical company, lemme tell ya.
Another all-time favourite: Mr. Tom Waits. He's always been a hero.
WEEN. Great band! Another of those great concerts. If my memory serves me, I saw them some time late in 1997. 3 hours of one of the "tightest" groups I've ever seen. plus they were really nice guys (as was aforementioned New Bomb Turks and the Reverend). As good (or even better!) are The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Boss Hog, Jon Spencer's band with that bitchin' beautiful wife of his, Cristina. Whooa, boy! Down! I've seen JSBX twice now, first with RL Burnside as support, second with André Williams. The first time was the best, Spencer was in excellent form and so was I. The second time I was seriously hung over and was a wee bit bored. Theremins to the people!

And Jeez! The old Grand Royal/Beastie Boys homepage - my old time favourites and their top of the line magazine... #1 is now available in an 'lect ronic version. They still rock the fuck!

I'd listen to Norwegian masterdicks Turbonegro any second. They give homorock a GOOD name! And boy do they kick butt! They fornicate and they pimp and they whore! They sound much better than The Mentors, and they're almost as "porno"! They steal. They cheat. They eat meat in massive quantities, I tell you. They BAD, man! They've played with Kramer's old sidekick Eugene! You stink !
